The training must include the safe use of physical restraint and seclusion in incidents involving imminent danger or serious harm to the student, school employees, or others.

8. Internal Control Standards per IC 5-11-1-27
a. Description: Every school corporation must utilize internal control standards as outlined in IC 5-11-1-27. Per the Indiana State Board of Accounts (SBOA), every employee that handles school funds is required to complete mandatory SBOA Internal Control training (i.e. cafeteria, textbook fees, fieldtrips, club activities, student fees, fundraising, ticket sales, etc.).
b. Required for: The employee of a school corporation whose official duties include receiving, processing, depositing, disbursing, or otherwise having access to funds that belong to the federal government, state government, a political subdivision, or another governmental agency. a. Description: Stop the Bleed kits are placed in each classroom in the orange emergency bag. All staff members should be familiar with the contents and at least five (5) staff members must be fully trained to use the main kids near the AED (automated external defibrillator) devices in each building.

a. Description: Training should ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees. The training shall include recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. When tag outs are used, employees must also be trained in the limitation of those tags.

4. Confined Space Training
a. Description: The purpose of Wa-Nee Community Schools Confined Space Program is to ensure that the hazards of all confined spaces in the school system are evaluated and that information concerning physical and health hazards is transmitted to potentially exposed employees. It is not only the intent of Wa-Nee Community Schools to fully comply with the OSHA Standard 1910.146, but also to improve the overall safety of our schools. A successful Confined Space Program will reduce the potential for a serious injury or fatality.

a. Description: This training provides information on what is included on an SDS sheet and how to read it. It describes the different categories of the sheets to help with storage, handling, and exposure of the substance described on the document.

1. Lock Out/Tag Out per 29 CFR 1910.147
a. Description: Training should ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees. The training shall include recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. When tag outs are used, employees must also be trained in the limitation of those tags.

2. Asbestos Training
a. Description: Training provides awareness of where asbestos is in the school buildings and provide guidance when it is encountered to prevent exposure to the asbestos. Asbestos should never be touched without 8 hours of additional training.

a. Description: This training will instruct the attendees in the proper set up and use of a one man lift.

4. Confined Space Training
a. Description: The purpose of Wa-Nee Community Schools Confined Space Program is to ensure that the hazards of all confined spaces in the school system are evaluated and that information concerning physical and health hazards is transmitted to potentially exposed employees. It is not only the intent of Wa-Nee Community Schools to fully comply with the OSHA Standard 1910.146, but also to improve the overall safety of our schools. A successful Confined Space Program will reduce the potential for a serious injury or fatality.

5. Proper Lifting Technique Training
a. Description: This training will provide tips to perform lifting in the safest manner possible in order to prevent injury.
