Curriculum |
Assessment |
We strive to develop and implement a clear, coherent curriculum in every course.
"Curriculum - what we actually teach - may be the single largest school factor that affects learning, intellectual development and college and career readiness" (Schmoker, 2011). Data AnalysisWe use Harvard's Data Wise process to analyze data, identify areas of improvement, and develop an action plan for short term, medium term and long term goals.
|
We utilize formative and summative assessment data to monitor student goals and drive our instructional decisions. We use data from many sources, such as: Clear Sight, ILEARN, F&P, MindPlay, CogAT, PSAT, or classroom data such as exit tickets, quick checks, etc.
Intervention/EnrichmentWe have highly effective educators as Instructional Coaches and Academic Interventionists who support teachers and students. Our educators use Multi-Tier System of Supports (MTSS) to identify learners who are in need of remediation or enrichment and intervene as necessary.
